Maltese project wins 2007 EUN eLearning Awards
The project ‘Rescue La Vallette: An Adventure in Time’ from the Dun Anton Manche school in Malta won the Young Digital Planet Award for best use of ICT at the 7th eLearning Awards. The ceremony was held in conjunction with the EMINENT 2007 Conference in Brussels on 6 December 2007.
Piotr Mroz, a board member at Young Digital Planet, presented teacher, Emmanuel Zammit, with a crystal trophy, a cheque for € 3,000 and an interactive whiteboard set for his school. 13 schools were awarded in the 2007 eLearning Awards for a total of € 40.000 in cash prizes and equipment.
The eLearning Awards, organised by European Schoolnet, are one of the leading competitions for schools in Europe, demonstrating how they contribute to the building of knowledge economy.
eLearning Awards 2007 partners are Young Digital Planet, Intel, Interwrite Learning, Promethean, SMART Technologies, Apple, Michael, Adobe, Belgacom, Microsoft, SIVECO Romania, Telefónica O2 and UPC.
